No° 15 La pera
$1,900.00

Artist: JX Hana

Date of Creation: May 2024

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas

Dimensions: 36x46 inches

Edition Number: Original

“No° 15 La Pera" is my reinterpretation of the Lotería card, infused with personal meaning and cultural symbolism.

Through bold colors and graphic lines reminiscent of the classic Lotería style, "La Pera" speaks to the dualities of femininity—delicate yet unyielding, nurturing yet formidable. The rich, vibrant hues reflect the energy and vitality of women who embrace their identities unapologetically, while the simplicity of the composition underscores the purity and universality of this message.

This painting is a tribute to women everywhere and a reminder that strength comes in many forms, including the softness and vulnerability that make us human.

"No° El Nopal" is a vibrant and nostalgic homage to the iconic Mexican bingo game, Lotería. This painting not only serves as a reminder of the beloved game but also as a celebration of the beauty and resilience found in everyday life, as symbolized by the nopal cactus.

No° 27 El Corazon
$1,200.00

Artist: JX Hana

Date of Creation: November 2024

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas

Dimensions: 32x32 inches

Edition Number: Original

“No° 27 El Corazón" is my reimagining of the iconic Lotería card, transformed into a deeply personal exploration of the fragility and resilience of the heart. As Latine women, we often carry an unspoken responsibility to guard our hearts fiercely, balancing tenderness with self-protection. This painting is both a celebration and a cautionary tale—a reflection on the strength it takes to preserve the most vulnerable parts of ourselves.

The heart in this piece is vivid and central, surrounded by bold yet protective lines that speak to the barriers we create to shield ourselves.

Through "El Corazón," I aim to tell a story familiar to many Latine women: the delicate dance of love, vulnerability, and self-preservation. It is a reminder that while our hearts may be fragile, the courage to protect and cherish them is a testament to our strength.
